DCE 5.0-20240830 Enterprise Released¶

This page explains the latest features, improvements and bug fixes, included in DCE 5.0-20240830 Enterprise. DCE 5.0 modularizes each product module, and the versions included in this release are the default versions in the DCE 5.0 installer. If you need to independently upgrade or replace each module, contact Daocloud's support team to download the proper versions and upgrade. Also refer to DCE 5.0 Enterprise Deployment Requirements.

MultiCloud Management v0.22.0¶

• Added audit logs for binding and unbinding instances and namespaces within the workspace
• Added node selector functionality to the multicloud service form

Container Registry v0.21.1¶

• Added support for the quick creation of managed Harbor through a one-click setup for Redis, Minio, and PG
• Improved validated middleware instances when creating managed Harbor; middleware already in use by other Harbors cannot be reused

Insight Server v0.30.0

• Added the service detail page now includes traffic distribution and metrics for associated containers
• Added trace components, including Jaeger and OpenTelemetry Collector, for built-in alert rules

Microservices Engine v0.40.0¶

• Added Nacos now supports querying service instances based on metadata labels
• Added the gateway instance overview now displays the fixed IPs of nodes

Service Mesh v0.29.0¶

• Added support for resource synchronization in worker clusters
• Added waypoint mode

Data Services (Middleware)¶

• Improved to prevent the selection of abnormal clusters when creating MongoDB instances
• Fixed a MySQL permission leakage issue

Intelligent Engine v0.8.0¶

• Added [Beta] support for manually saving a Notebook as an image while it is running (depends on the Container Registry module)
• Added [Beta] support for training tasks with configurations for resuming from checkpoints, including automatic detection and resolution of task failures

Global Management v0.30.0¶

• Added support for configuring system messages, including settings for start and end times
• Added operational management now supports two perspectives: tenant and administrator

Cloud Edge Collaboration v0.14.1¶

• Added support for allocating initial component resources from the cloud to edge units based on the scale of edge nodes
• Added edge units now support unloading policy settings

Upgrade Notes¶

• Microservices Engine due to changes in the Gateway API community version, manual handling of CRD upgrades is required when upgrading from any version of Skoala to 0.40.x. Refer to the upgrade steps
• Middleware (MongoDB) when upgrading the MongoDB operator to the latest version (0.10.0), note that existing MongoDB instances will restart
